So, today was a busy day in Leanbh Babywearing HQ! I had been *patiently* awaiting deliveries from Fun2BeMum Fashion (Babywearing Fleeces) and Fidella (stock) and when they arrived, I got to spend my morning trying out the new version bw fleece - the fabulous Aleksandra in Fun2BeMum Fashion added on some handy drawstrings on the hoods to make it easier to keep snug and warm. It has been so lovely to deal with her over the past couple of months and I am really impressed with the fleece jacket, it's an all-in-one maternity, babywearing and everyday wear jacket - it comes with a maternity panel and a bw panel and can also be worn on it's own. It can be used for front and back carries and the added long cuffs with thumbholes just adds that extra bit of comfort. The jackets are made from polar fleece in a variety of colours and there's an added pop of colour in the lined hoods that makes it stand out. I also managed to have a play with the Fidella FlyTai and Onbu. I didn't get any photos with Little Miss in the FlyTai but got a few snaps with the Onbu. Little Miss is 2yrs 4mths and Little Mr is 5yrs 6mths (he wanted a go of the new sling!). I really love Onbu's. They're quick and easy to put on. I love the fact there's no waistbelt (read no muffin top) and they fold up small enough to fit in your bag, especially handy for kids that like to walk a lot but still want carrying sometimes too. I'm looking forward to trying out the Fidella Fusion tomorrow too. And finally, a lovely client who had a recent Babywearing Consultation contacted me today to say that she had attended an appointment for her little one's hip dysplasia and the consultant was delighted with the sling and was kind enough to give her an abduction brace for me to use! It will be so helpful to have my weighted demo doll in the brace for helping out other families. A huge thanks to this lovely family and I am so pleased to hear of how much the sling has helped them so far.
